Private Rental Tenancy Support Service (PRTSS) (State wide)
PRTSS in partnership with The Salvation Army, provides tenancy support and education to tenants on low incomes who are living or intending to live in private rental, through face to face appointments, phone support and group sessions.
Centacare can support tenants with;
Learning how to maintain successful tenancy, rental arrears information, financial support awareness, budgeting assistance, preparing for a tenancy inspection, dealing with maintenance and repair issues, information on local support services, information and support on the eviction process, tenancy education, lease, condition report, bond and pre-tenancy information and support.
Eligibility criteria:
Referrals can be self or supported referral. The target group is low income earners, though higher income earners are welcome to call for phone support and advice.

This is a free service.
